Rafter Six Ranch

Winter is my very favorite season. Winter weddings are seriously so beautiful. This shoot at Rafter Six Ranch in gorgeous Kananaskis was created to showcase just how beautiful they can be. Jesse Hisco and I were fortunate to work with so many talented vendors. The folks at Rafter Six were so open to letting us move around their property and even took us on a sleigh ride! Leo at Willow Haven created a beautiful tablescape and his florals are always to die for. I loved the succulence in his arrangements. They looked so beautiful in the snow and held up very well despite the frosty temperatures. Sharon Auld of Naturally Chic Designs added eco-friendly custom wooden engravings, place settings and made the horseshoes as well. Love! Ashley’s dress was designed by local dress designer Laura George. You can check out her custom made beautiful gowns here! Michelle Suffolk from Make Me did not one but two hair and make-up sessions with Ashley for us, and the ah-mazing BR Pirri styled Ashley and Donovan like no one’s business! Seriously. A little custom tailoring and styling for the groom goes a long way. Buh-bye black rented suit! Hello Henry Singer. I just loved BR’s idea of incorporating a big fluffy blanket to keep Ashley warm. We even had stunning rings custom designed by Rudi Peet, a local Goldsmith who works out of Canmore. But the whole thing would not have been possible without my friend Jesse Hisco, who worked tirelessly organizing all the people involved in such a short amount of time!
