Hendrik and Simone’s wedding at Eigen Wijze in north Holland was really something out of a fairy tale. Their ceremony was situated in the beautiful medieval castle ruins of Kinder Burcht, with people gathered from near and far. Their vows made me cry, and gave me more insight into why I love to photograph weddings. Hendrik and Simone brought an incredible presence to their wedding, and left me with a reminder that I need to bring more presence into my life.
