Heleen and Joachim had an amazingly fun wedding at Oranjerie Elswout in Haarlem. This was my first time photographing a Dutch Wedding. This was, however, not a traditional Dutch wedding, in the sense that the couple created an “American” theme for their reception. The idea for this was based on the fact that Joachim asked Heleen to marry him in New York City. It was so much fun I almost felt as if I wasn’t working at all (perhaps because I just had a baby and this was my first outing). Everyone was having a great time, and their friends and family were so nice and welcoming to myself and Ronny Rozenberg, who was second shooting with me. Thank you so much Heleen and Joachim.
